Tutoring available through the Student Support Services

Tutoring is offered in individual or small group settings. General subject areas include core curriculum courses like math, biology, chemistry, English, history, political science, physics, psychology, Spanish and many others.  Higher level courses are available upon request and demand.  You must be accepted into the Student Support Services program to receive this free service.

What can you expect in a tutoring session?

Tutoring is provided by our highly trained and experienced Tutoring Staff. Student Support Services' tutors are not only very knowledgeable in their specific academic areas but also highly proficient in the communication skills necessary for truly valuable assistance. Our tutors are compassionate and will maintain confidentiality.  They will help you evaluate your study skills, clarify course content and give honest and supportive feedback. 

Tutoring is conducted during scheduled weekly sessions. Tutoring is available Monday through Friday in our very own tutoring and computer lab. To sign up for tutoring, visit the forms page on our website to fill out an application.  This request will be electronically submitted to our office, reviewed, and we will contact you with an appointment if approved.
