Underrepresented Student Advisory Council

Mission

The Underrepresented Student Advisory Council (USAC) is a programming and leadership development council composed various recognized Texas State student organizations. USAC welcomes and supports organizations whose membership includes persons from groups: which have been, and continue to be, underrepresented in higher education. The missions of member organizations being a part of USAC is to represent and promote diversity and equal opportunity initiatives in support of a pluralistic society.

USAC's Leadership Welcome Back Dinner

The USAC Leadership Retreat is for new or returning student leaders representing various Executive Boards of organization under the USAC umbrella.  Student leaders will recieve pertinent information regarding funding, budgeting, leadership, proposal writing, and professionalism to better assist them during their terms on their respective Executive Board.  This is also a great event for networking and sharing ideas with student leaders with similar interests.  The organization's delegate and two Executive Board representative per organization are required to attend this annual retreat.
