Focused on Early Intervention

Educational Talent Search is an early intervention program. We effectively reach students who have college potential but often do not recognize or understand their academic and career options beyond high school.

One-On-One Services

Each full time advisor serves approximately 210 students. Therefore, we have an opportunity to work one-on-one with each student. Unlike traditional college prep programs, we get to know each student on a first-name basis. ETS advisors are personally committed to the success our students.

Committed to Tough Cases

Many ETS students are from neighborhoods that are filled with violence, discouragement, and negativity. We do our best to empower students with realistic educational opportunities and options that are available to them.

Reality Based

Like our students, many of the ETS staff had to overcome class, social, academic and cultural barriers to succeed in higher education. Because of this, we can effectively relate to our students to motivate them in spite of discouraging obstacles.

Comprehensive Assistance

Beginning in the junior year of high school, ETS students receive comprehensive services to help them successfully enroll in post-secondary education.  These services include ACT and SAT fee waivers and registration, scholarship searches, completing college admission and financial aid applications, and other information needed to transition from high school to college.
